"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them." Nashville Boat and Sportshow Jan.23rd -Jan.26th

Do you have an avid boatsman or fisherman in your family? Have you thought of purchasing your own boat but didn't know where to start? Are you a fisherman interested in finding and experimenting with new bait? Are you looking for a fun affordable family event that the whole family will enjoy? If you answered yes to any of these questions than I have found the event for you..............The Nashville Boat and Sportshow.

The Nashville Boat and Sportshow is a 4 day event happening Jan. 23rd-Jan. 26th at Music City Center in Nashville, TN. While I don't own a boat and just fish for fun occassionaly I am really excited about the event and here are a few of the reason's why:

Meet and Greet with Godwin from the hit show "Duck Dynasty" on Sunday January 26th from 11-3pm! Anybody that know's me know's I love "Duck Dynasty!"

Be a diver! Anyone age 10 and over can try their hand at scuba diving in a pool of tropical warm waters! You will be able to test out all of the latest equipment and have your picture taken underwater as a souvenire of your adventure! This is the event that my children are most excited about!

Paddlefest: Test out the latest in kayaking, canoes and paddleboards!

BASS Tubs of Oklahoma Fish Tank: experience fishing from the viewpoint of th e fish! In a 5,000 gallon stocked tank you will see how different fish species react to different fishing techniques, bait, and lures.

These are just a few of the many events you can check out other highlighted events of the show HERE.

You can purchase tickets HERE for $9 each, the best part is you will receive a one year subscription to a variety of popular magazines like Field & Stream with your ticket purchase and all children 15 and under get in for FREE!
