"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them." John Holt
So, here is what has went on the last two days. Tuesday Dora and I went to Walmart and Lowe's and picked out some seed to start indoors for our vegetable garden and also picked up a few things for my soon to be here granddaughter. Everyone helped with the seed sowing, we did 74 so far but may do more. We have corn, cabbage, lettuce, onion, jalapeno and bell peppers, okra, carrots, and zucchini. We also got tomato plants already started.
Dad and I also bought two of these bird feeders hoping to attract some hummingbirds. The kids learned how to make the nectar and filled and hung them.
The kids have played video games, made lots of rainbow loom bracelets, watched You Tube videos and movies, played Yugioh cards, done chores, played and cared for pets and also enjoyed some time outdoors riding bikes.
Even though it is still a little early fro celebrating Easter we couldn't wait to try out these glow in the dark eggs from Egglo! Bubba and Bret hid them for Dora and she had a lot of fun looking for them!
We got this awesome package from House Party and Nerf. Dora just had to try out the bow and arrow early.
That about sums it up! What have you all been up to?
