Here is Dora's shirt she decorated with fabric paint after I went to bed last night. She said it was inspired by here, so it's "Crazy and Happy!"
She spent the morning texting her cousin out of state who didn't have school today and then we read some of the books we
picked up at the library yesterday. We started the Martin Luther King Jr one since today is his birthday. We also read two stories from the Brother's Grimm: Cinderella and Hansel and Grethel. If you have older kids they may find the original Cinderella very interesting, though slightly violent!
Dora made me a beaded keychain.
While I cleaned the kitchen she came in there and made some "Monkey Bread." This is something we had never made before but I had pinned to do. It turned out quite delicious even though I forgot to take a picture of the final product. (Look for recipe soon!). When she needed stick butter and all I had was margarine she googled the conversions and found out that 1 stick of butter was the same as 1/2 cup.
Dad got home early so Dora and I went with him to pick up some things for a late lunch then the whole family watched "Muppets From Outer Space." Although, I think I napped as much as I watched!
Dora and Bubba put together some air dry clay creations after the movie.Dora did all the colorful ones and Bubba did the one of the guy holding the gun. He is hoping after it dries completely it will stand up.
Bubba and Bret slept late so other than watching the movie and some You Tube videos really haven't done a whole lot As I write this Bubba is in his room and Bret is watching a You Tube video game on "Ghost" and Dora is getting ready for Youth Group and watching "Jessie" on Disney channel.
