"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them." Our Saturday started really early! Bubba and Bret were going to a Yugioh regional tournament in Madison, TN with some friends. This is about 2 hours a way so it was their first mini road trip without Mom and Dad! Since I had to take them to meet up with friends at the card store at 7 Dora was up really early as well!

When we got to the store we ended up walking around the parking lot and talking for an hour before their friends showed up.

Dora and I went back home and since she was complaining of her back hurting (apparently Sudsy decided to attack her while she was practicing a headstand!) I had her lay on the couch with a heating pad for awhile. So she endulged in Disney shows until about 11 and then we decided to go to Mcdonald's for lunch.

SInce Saturday is mother/daughter date day we talked about all the things we could go do and she decided on bowling.

We had a lot of fun bowling and playing Dance Revolution in the bowling alley's arcade. Go HERE to see some videos of Dora bowling and dancing! On the way home we stopped at Walmart to get some dinner and ice cream.

She was really tired when we got home since she had went to bed late the day before and gotten up early so we both snuggled on the couch with a bowl of mint chocolate chip before she played on the Playstation for awhile. I had some computer time and then we went and worked some more on our paper mache solar system project. We both got the second layer done on our planets.
