"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them." Dora wasn't here today as she went home to spend the night with Chris yesterday and will be gone until Thursday. Originally we were not sure Bubba would be released as early as he was so Josh had the day off today. This morning I felt really exhausted and kind of "blah" so we just lazed around and drank lots of coffee while the boys slept in.

Around lunch time we got to moving and the boys went with us to run some errands, pay bills, get a small loan to help pay bills, etc. Unfortunately with the stress of everything going on lately Josh and I got in a bit of an argument and acted like 2 year olds for awhile. All is well now as he is my first and only love and best friend. After 18 years of being married you learn quickly to forgive and move on!

While we were out we had to do some grocery shopping. I had talked to the family about some changes I was wanting to make so that we could eat better and especially avoid hard to digest foods since Bubba no longer has a gall bladder. Believe it or not Bret and Bubba were very much on board! They helped pick out fresh vegetables and fruit they wanted to try and weighed and estimated prices for me. We talked about MSGs and gluten and why certain foods should be avoided. It was very much a wonderful lesson in nutrition and reading lablels. Bubba also picked out a few types of beans they had never tried before. We ended up grilling out some chicken strips and putting them over a big salad for dinner, with pears and rice crackers on the side.

Afterwards, the boys stayed home and Dad and I went to wash laundry at the laundry mat. The stress of having an over $600 rent a center bill was enough and I let among other things my washer and dryer go back. So the laundry mat it is for awhile!
