"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them."                                  February 12th, 2014

Ok, I am trying really hard to get back into the daily postings here! February has been such a crazy month for me and my family!

So, yesterday morning I was looking at the Valentine's day skate party itenerary for Friday when I noticed for the first time we were suppossed to decorate a card box and have card/treats for everyone. So, Dora quickly got to work cutting, pasting, and painting her box. She is making hers look like a lady bug but it will be a love bug! (pics later when finished). She already had some Valentine's cards I had picked up but her Bret and I went shopping at Fred's where she picked out some bubble gum to tape to each card. No names on the from as she wants to give them anonymously.

Bubba spent much of his day organizing his Yugioh cards and watching You Tube videos on Yugioh cards. Bret listened to his music, challenged his brother to a few Yugioh duels, and played lots of app games on his ipod. Dora after decorating her box spent a good bit of time playing Cool Math Games and she also joined me on getting caught up on my Teen Mom 2 episodes. (I know, bad momma!)

It had been snowing off and on all day but with our really wet yard nothing seemed to be sticking. When Dad got home he informed us about 15 minutes down the road there was enough snow to play in so even though it was almost dark we just had to go!

See how beautiful! And who would deny the biggest kid some play after working so hard in snow all day?
