"Children do not need to learn to be better, told what to do or shown how. If they are given access to enough of the world, they will see clearly enough what things are truly important to themselves and to others, and they will make for themselves a better path into that world than anyone else could make for them."          Egglo Entertainment: An Easter Preview

I know Easter is still a few weeks away but I am so excited about these cool products from Egglo Entertainment that I wanted to share a little preview with you of how we are planning on using them in our Easter celebration!

As a Christian family we strive to find new ways each year to keep Jesus and the resurrection the main focus of our Easter festivities. That is why I was delighted to find these awesome products from Egglo that remind us in a not so subtle way that  Jesus is the light of the world.

What better way to remind the children of this light than by having them find the light in the darkness with Egglo Glow in the Dark Easter Eggs. The glow in the dark eggs come in a pack of 12 in blue, pink, green and yellow. Some of the eggs had a cross on the front while others where plain. Before using the eggs you have to charge them either by natural light or a light source. We chose to charge our eggs with a black light and the results were amazing!

This is the result of one of the eggs after being under the blacklight for about 30 seconds.

My two older sons hid the eggs so that my 11 year old daughter could go out and find them. Who knew glow in the dark eggs could be hidden so well! Dad and I had to go out and help her locate the last few as the boys were great hiders! The eggs stayed brightly lit throughout our entire hutnt and after! They were also very durable compared to other plastic Easter eggs and could easily be put up to enjoy for years to come.

(sorry, a little blurry, my daughter kept moving!)

As we were just trying them out for fun we didn't hide any treats inside but when we use them as part of our Easter hunt we do plan on adding some candy as well as these Egglo Treasure Scripture Scrolls. Egglo Treasure Scripture Scrolls come in a pack of 12 and can easily fit inside of any plastic Easter egg. Each scroll contains a simple message based on a Bible verse further enforcing the true meaning of Easter.

We are also planning on reading the Adventure Book. I have only glanced at it so far but the first thing I noticed was how bright and captivating the pictures were. You can see a summary of the Adventure Book in this video:

As you can see there are so many ways that you can use these products with your children at home or a community or church event. You are only limited by your imagination. You can find out more about the different Egglo products available and buy your own HERE. Check back after Easter so I can show you more pictures of how we used our Egglo Glow in the Dark Easter Eggs as well as some fun things you can do with your eggs after the holiday is over!

*I received the above mentioned products for review purposes however all opinions are 100% my own.*
